Nutrition Holistique

« The holistic viewpoint is not a new one. In fact, it has been around since the dawn of history. It is, even now, the prevalent philosophy in all societies except our own and those we’ve influenced.

A holistic view of the human body recognizes that its function is affected by a variety of factors, both internal and external, such as food, drink, exercise, emotions, stress, and so on. It recognizes that disease symptoms express a total condition of the organism. Our individual body parts are all components of an integrated physical being who also exists on social, emotional, and spiritual levels; people are part of families, tribes, and societies. In terms of illness, a weakness in the heart expresses a weakness of the other organs, an infection in a finger means a polluted condition throughout; and improved nutrition and a tonifying of the whole body will automatically lead to the healing of many different symptoms.

True healing begins with awareness: awareness of self, first of all, to discover how we function. With awareness comes responsibility. We are the cause of our illness and can therefore be actively responsible for our own healing. True healing is not just getting rid of a headache… it means discovering why we have a headache in the first place. »
Annemarie Colbin, Food and Healing

The holistic approach of nutrition helps identifying the causes of a clients’ health concerns, based on specific questionnaires and a food journal, in order to rebalance the organisme.

Examples of health concerns

Allergies (and food intolerances), Cancer, Candidiasis, Cholesterol, Cystitis, Depression, Diabetes, Digestion (constipation, diarrhea, abdominal pain, bloating, heartburn…), Fatigue, Heart health, High blood pressure, Hyperactivity, Hypoglycemia, Immune system, Joint pain, Liver (overloaded), Menopause, Weight management (overweight, underweight, eating disorders) etc.

This holistic approach allows to evaluate the clients’ nutritional intake, exercise habits, bodily functions such as digestion, as well as spiritual aspects of their lives. Sidonie then provides a specifically tailored program for the individual to follow, and regain well-being. More functionally, she teaches the importance of nutrition and motivates her clients to achieve their health goals.

By using plants to drain (liver, skin, kidneys etc.), as well as nutritional supplements, the organism can be rebalanced and the immune system be strengthened.

Other technics & tools

On demand Sidonie provides supervised health fasts (eating little, it is not a water or dry fast). A fast allows the organism among others self-discovery and a deeply cleansing (detox and rejuvenation from the inside). For more information, please contact her directly.

Another precious tool is the Oligocheck assessment, which is based on measurements taken by a spectrophotometer. This test  (fast, without blood test and efficient) is a real time evaluation of potential heavy metal excess and oxydative stress, of deficiencies / excesses in minerals and trace elementsas well as of thebioavailability of vitamins in tissues.  Additional information
